A little more about Paula

Paula created Terra Bella Books when her debut picture book Who Needs a Forest Fire? was commissioned as part of an arts/education program in 2021.

In addition to writing books for children, she has worked in environmental education, water conservation and landscape design. After starting Terra Bella Landscape Design, Paula's award-winning garden designs led the creation of Terra Bella Water to promote education and resources about water in southern California. 

Paula has written for or taught at: City Kids L.A./Argo Navis School, Renaissance Arts Academy, USC School of Public Policy, National Youth and Children's Gardening Symposium, North American Association for Environmental Education, APLD, ARCSA, Green Gardens Group (G3), Urban Water Group, Inc., and Tree People.
